The price was right, installation was easy, and performance is good. I bought it to use with Skype and it works fine. Not high def, but I'm not going to get high def through free Skype.Did not like that fact that the camera s/w comes up automatically when the computer is started and this feature must be manually disabled.
Recieved in good condition relatively quickly. Work good. Be careful when downloading software. Make sure you want everything downloaded or you will get Microsoft software you don't want and cannot erase.
With this I can install it by my self as easy 1 2 3.I've been browsing & comparing with all those expensive, vancy looking LOGITECH brand. This is such a great webcam. And I come up to buy this cam with the budget I can afford. I'm not an hightech person. Am an busy house wife & mother of 2 kids, I don't have time to read those long manuals. Also am so darn happy its perfect for SKYPE. The microphone very clear, So my kids very happy to have the chance to talk to their aunty in Shanghai every once a week.
This is a very good product. The image quality is too good and doesnt seem like its a 1.3 MP webcam.
The unit was reasonably easy to install, after a couple of hiccups. The quality of the picture is not the best - kind of herky-jerky. But we are pleased overall because it was cost effective and gets the job done. We will upgrade as better products become less expensive.
